The Origins of Graffiti Movie (Watch it Free)

Wall Writers is a story about the first generation of graffiti writers in the 1960s – 1970s era. It highlights the artists that revolutionized the art form into mainstream and essentially what it is today. Showing the artists who created commonly used accents such as ‘crowns’ and ‘arrows’. Artists such as Cornbread, Taki 183, LSD OM, and other originators are featured, some of which have never given an onscreen interview. We had a post about graffiti pre-dating Hip Hop Culture a few months back. This film tells the story of graffiti before and after its adoption. You can check out the trailer below or watch the whole film for free on Redbull TV.
